Thank you for your interest in Phantom Ranch and we look forward to your stay with us! Please make your selection below if you are seeking reservations to stay at Phantom Ranch as a Hiker or as a Mule Rider. If you are hiking on your own with a backcountry permit and only need to reserve meals at the Phantom Ranch Canteen, then select the I Need Meals Only option. Upon your selection, please follow the process to check for available accommodations and then meals. Available inventory can change quickly, so please note that your inventory is not held and the reservation is not complete until it has been confirmed, guaranteed with a deposit and you have received a confirmation number. Please note the Dormitories are currently closed and we, unfortunately, do not yet have a new target date for them to re-open. As a result, Hiker groups are currently limited to 10 people. The overnight mule rides will not operate from through December 31, 2025, as the Bright Angel Trail is NOT suitable for mule riders. Additionally, due to construction, Phantom Ranch Hikers can take the South Kaibab Trail both to and from Phantom Ranch through September 30, 2025. The Tonto Trail can also be used during this time. Please visit www.nps.gov/gcra for more information regarding construction closures or backcountry trails Information.

The Bright Angel Trail will be closed from Havasupai Gardens to Silver Bridge from through May 14, 2025. Phantom Ranch Hikers Cabins will remain open; hikers must take the South Kaibab Trail both to and from Phantom Ranch. Overnight mule rides will not be operating during this time.
